Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your MOuseios account and erase the data we
store for it. It applies to the MOuseios app on Android (com.b26.android) and on
iOS. Section references below are to the Privacy Policy
dated 7 August 2026, and give the section name as well as its number. Both are
specific to that edition: if the policy you are reading carries a different date, these
references will not resolve against it — neither the numbers nor the
names. Check the date at the top of the policy before following a citation from this page.
MOuseios requires you to sign in with Google or Apple. We store a small amount of account data server-side. We also store copies of sketches you create while the optional model-improvement setting is on (off by default in the EEA/UK; on by default elsewhere, where you can opt out at any time) — and, separately, cloud generation sends the sketch and prompt for a request to our servers whether or not that setting is on. You can delete all of it at any time, subject to the limits set out under What deletion does not do.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
This is the fastest and most complete way. In almost all cases it removes your account immediately; the exceptions are under What deletion does not do.
- Open MOuseios and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm in the “Delete your account?” dialog. You will be signed out automatically.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, email us and we will delete your account and data manually. You do not need the app installed to use this route.
Send a request to privacy@mouseios.com from the email address associated with the Google or Apple account you used to sign in, with the subject “MOuseios account deletion request.”
We use the sending address to verify your identity against your account. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send the request from that private-relay address (or include it in the email) so we can match your account. We act on verified requests as promptly as applicable law requires.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account (either option above), we permanently erase the following from our servers:
| Data | Where it lived | Deleted? |
|---|---|---|
| Your Google or Apple sign-in account / login identity | Authentication | Yes — the account itself is removed, not just its data, so the sign-in is fully revoked. |
| Your model-improvement consent setting and consent receipt | User record | Yes |
| Any sketches you contributed for model improvement — the sketch image, the generated image, and the recorded drawing strokes (including pen pressure, tilt, and timing) | Object storage (under your account ID) + a metadata record | Yes — every stored contributed object is removed. Models already trained while your settings allowed contributions are not re-trained (see What deletion does not do). |
| Your Spark credit balance and grant records | Credit ledger | Yes — your ledger is deleted, and any remaining Sparks are forfeited. We may retain purchase and credit ledger records after deletion to the extent, and for the period, needed for tax, accounting, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention, legal or compliance obligations (§11.2, Diagnostics and transaction retention). |
| Push notification tokens registered for your account | Credit ledger | Yes |
| The billing rows for your queued and completed generation jobs | Credit ledger | Yes. Note this is the billing record, not the job itself — the job status records that back cloud generation are covered under What deletion does not do. |
Deletion runs as a single cascade: if any step fails, the app reports the failure rather than reporting a deletion that only partly happened. Most failures are transient and trying again succeeds. If a deletion attempt keeps failing, see What deletion does not do — a legal hold is one reason a retry will not clear on its own.
What deletion does not do
Most of these limits are also set out in our Privacy Policy, and are cited below where they are. Two are not: the legal-hold limit, and the expiry figures for cloud generation data — we state those here anyway, because leaving them out would make this page less complete than it should be.
It does not un-train models
Deleting your account removes stored server-side contributions, but it does not un-train models that were already trained while your settings allowed contributions. A trained model does not store your contributions in a retrievable form, and we do not attempt to reconstruct or identify individual contributions from trained models. (§10.2, Limits of deletion.)
It does not erase cloud generation request data — that data expires on its own schedule instead
If you used optional cloud generation, the prompt and conditioning input you sent, and the image returned to you, are processed to produce your result and operate the Service. Deleting your account does not reach back and erase that request data. It is not kept indefinitely: these records carry automatic expiry rules that delete them within about 30 days of creation, and most within 7. We retain them only as long as needed to produce and deliver your result and to operate the Service, including short-term abuse prevention — unless a longer period is required by law, security needs, or another lawful retention purpose. (§6.2, Separation from training, and §11.1, Account and training retention.) The same applies to the job status records that track a cloud generation from request to result: they expire on that schedule rather than being erased when you delete your account. Cloud generation is separate from the model-improvement setting: using it does not, by itself, add your work to the training corpus.
It does not touch sketches stored only on your device
Sketches that were generated on your device and never contributed for model improvement are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We never receive them, so there is nothing for us to delete. To remove that local copy, uninstall the app or delete them in the app. (§10.2, Limits of deletion.)
It cannot complete while a legal hold is in force
In rare cases we are legally required to preserve specific records — a legal hold. While a hold applies to your account we cannot complete deletion, and the request will fail rather than partly succeed: nothing is deleted, so nothing is left half-erased. If a deletion attempt keeps failing, email privacy@mouseios.com — we will tell you what is happening, and complete the deletion once the hold is lifted.
It does not erase records other companies hold, or records the law requires us to keep
We may retain purchase, subscription, transaction, tax, accounting, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention, legal, and security records for the period required or permitted by law, and only to that extent. Separately, the authoritative purchase records for anything you bought are held by Apple, Google, Stripe and RevenueCat under their own terms — deleting your MOuseios account does not erase records held by those companies. (Privacy Policy §10.1, Server-side deletion, and §11.2, Diagnostics and transaction retention.)
Account deletion cannot be undone once completed. (§10.2, Limits of deletion.)
Data retention
We keep account data only while your account exists. Deleting your account removes the server-side data described above. Residual copies in encrypted backups, if any, are purged on our providers’ standard backup-rotation schedules. We do not retain your stored contributions after a verified deletion. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data that no longer identifies you or your work.
